Don’t dig into your pocket for that folded paper copy of the schedule with handwritten changes on the margins (assuming you heard about the change). See the day’s field trip schedule at-a-glance. Click into an activity to get the full details. Touch the location to open maps. Touch any web address provided to open the web page in your browser. Leaders can add, edit, or remove activities easily from the schedule. Updates are immediately reflected on everyones device. Parents love seeing where their child is and what they’re doing next.
- Messaging
Communicate back and forth with ease. Need to get a message to everyone or just to your Chaperones? That’s super important on a student group trip. With TravL, you dont have to look for that person or have their phone number to call or text them. Just message them through the TravL App. Message one person, a few folks, or the whole group. Push Notifications make sure they know they’ve got a new message. It’s great for parents back home so when the bus gets stuck in a traffic jam on the interstate and the group is getting home two hours later than scheduled, you dont have to call every parent – just message them in the TravL app.
- Roster
Each trip you create has a unique ‘Join Code’ that you’ll share with everyone attending. Once they’ve entered the code, they become a member of the trip. Assigned roles are TravLer, Chaperone, and Leader. Assign students to Chaperones so everyone knows who’s responsible for whom. Parents (and Administrators) can join in Parent Mode allowing them to see the schedule, photos, and receive messages from Leaders.
- Photo Gallery
Trip leaders and Chaperones can take or upload memorable photos in the app and share with everyone in the photo gallery. Like a picture? Just press download and it’s your memory to keep. Even parents back home get to experience the trip through colorful pictures.
- Parents and Administrators included
Why should parents be left out just because they cant come on the trip? With TravL, parents can be connected to what their child is experiencing. With the Photo Gallery they can see the excitement. Plus, the peace of mind knowing your child is just fine is priceless.
